As a young Royal Marine on a routine patrol, Mark Berwick's life was to dramatically change as he and three comrades witnessed the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. The four had to covertly make their way back to their British base. On their way, they witnessed a horrific attack on innocent village civilians - but not by the military. Unable to do anything, they reluctantly had to retreat into the woods mentally burdened with what they had seen. Nearly 30 years later, whilst visiting a friend in Paris, Mark inadvertently encounters a local drug baron he recognises immediately. This recognition results in a journey of justice which takes him half way around the world. Mark's military background sees him putting to rights some of the wrongs he witnessed all those years before. Part of this story is true and part is fiction. It is up to you, the reader, to decide where the line between the two exists.
